Why wireless changes the economics
Wireless systems cut both capital and operating costs well below a cabled installation, and they are considerably easier to mount. They also remove a physical failure mode: cabled nozzle antennas at the station are a fuel leakage risk, and once the leakage is gone the fuel contamination that comes with it is gone too.
Security by design
Only authorised parties can act on the system. A nozzle will not dispense into a vehicle that is not defined to it, and if a device is removed from its mount it has to be reactivated before it will work again.
On top of this, Exoprom's authorised technical service can monitor and intervene in the system remotely.
