Simurg — voted Turkey's best bookshop two years running — operates as a second-hand bookshop, a publisher and an auction house. Creamobile built its e-commerce platform.
The archive is the reason the project is not an ordinary online shop: Simurg holds more than 130,000 books, encyclopedias and periodicals, one of the most significant book archives in Turkey. At that scale browsing is useless and search is everything, so the system is built around multi-criteria search across dozens of categories and attributes.
Alongside the catalogue the platform carries product attribute management, photo management, order tracking and a newsletter for readers who want to hear about newly listed volumes.
